In 1954, a group of progressive thinkers with a common problem came together – that’s how Blackfoot’s story began. Tired of sharing party line phones, a group of ranchers and farmers each pitched in $50 as founding members of Blackfoot Telephone Cooperative. Through the decades, that same innovative spirit has continued to push Blackfoot ahead, including our commitment to delivering cutting-edge products and services to our customer base spanning 16 states.
We also wanted to take it one step further and help other entrepreneurs move their ideas forward – which is how C2M beta’s story began. Montana is a growing hotbed of technology startups, annually recognized as a leader in entrepreneurship by the Kauffman Foundation. As a growing technology company headquartered in Missoula, Blackfoot launched C2M beta in 2018 offering startups a unique experience via our Network+Network Approach.
Fun fact: C2M is actually derived from Blackfoot’s brand promise “Connect to more.”
Joe Fanguy joined Blackfoot in 2018 as VP of Strategic Development and founder of C2M beta, bringing a wealth of experience in team building, commercialization and startups. To enhance the accelerator program, Joe has assembled a seasoned group of industry experts, mentors, investors and entrepreneurs to join C2M beta.
